This condition may deteriorate after sitting for long hours or getting up after a night’s sleep. Make sure that you do not ignore these symptoms and consult your doctor if the pain, stiffness or other symptom like limited range of motion is observed.

Physical Examination

Physical examination often includes a series of questions that are asked by the doctor in order to understand the exact problem. The doctor may ask about the previous illness or any infections that the child may have had in the past. Also, you may need to tell the doctor about how the pain or any prominent symptom was first observed, how often does it trouble, which part of the body does the symptom hurts the most and if the child is taking any medicine or treatment for this or any other ailment.

X-rays clearly gives the picture of the deformities of the bones and joints. CT scan gives an elaborate image of the bony structures that may be affected due to the spondylosis.
