Using a sling is one of the effective ways of elbow pain treatments. Take a stretchy cloth that is about 1 square metre in area. Fold the cloth in the shape of a triangle. Make sure there is no rings and bracelet in the injured arm if you are using a sling.
Slip this cloth in such a way that one end of it is over your shoulder and the other under the injured arm. Place the other over the other shoulder such that the cloth cradles your injured elbow. Tie the ends of the cloth behind your neck.
Physiotherapy is another effective method of treating elbow pain at home. It is prescribed by most of the doctors as it can help in reducing the swelling and also prevents further serious symptoms like elbow stiffness.
Hire a physiotherapist who would show few useful stretching exercises and make sure of exercising under his supervision. You can also find few exercises in the internet which might be useful but is always recommended to refer to a physiotherapist.
