Cervical spondylosis is a type of arthritis in the neck that is caused due to abnormal wear and tear of the cervical vertebrae. The cervical vertebrae is built out of bones and cartilage and often the tissues surrounding the spine gets degenerated, leading to compression of more than one nerves.

Loss of balance and control upon the extremities like legs and arms is one of the common symptoms of cervical spondylosis. Vertigo exercises are generally recommended to the patients to overcome this problem. Compression of nerves in the cervical vertebrae can lead to lack of coordination in the movement of eyes, worsening the conditions related to losing balance. Vertigo exercises are solely meant to relax the muscles in the shoulders and neck and involve head and eye movements to eradicate the balancing issues.
Vertigo exercises targets the functioning of nerves in your body and involve focusing points through specific movements of eyes, shoulder rotations and shrugs, head movements, specific walking and standing workouts and bending motions to flex the spinal cord. You should not stress your neck while performing these exercises and make sure that your breathing remains normal throughout the workouts.
The movements should be slow and gradual. Focus on the number of repetitions to make the exercises more effective. However, these exercises are easy and do not involve any instruments. Hence, you should perform these exercises at least 3 times per day to solve the issues related to losing balance.

The vertigo exercises are easy and you do not need any instruments to perform these exercises. All of these exercises are free hand and involves range of motion workouts, movements and stretches to pull and push the affected area without exceeding its endurance limit.
In case of cervical spondylosis, it helps in overcoming the balance issues by regular practicing. It also makes the patients habituated to the movements that lead to this loss of balance. However, most of these vertigo exercises are directed towards curing dizziness and not cervical spondylosis.
Cervical spondylosis is a critical disease and affects the most complicated part of the body – spine. Perform these vertigo exercises and observe carefully whether it is through these exercises that you are relieved from the symptoms of cervical spondylosis.
